SODO

SODO is a 22 Acre, mixed-use development site South of Downtown that includes a Super Target store, 370,000 SF of retail space, 75,000 SF of office space together with 300 Luxury Apartments. North American Properties & Kimco Realty Corporation are the developers of this site.

The original old vacant 50’s strip center occupied one end of a large site on the outskirts of downtown, while remnants of a long vacated drive-in movie theater were still visible on the back lot. The task called for sixteen city roadway open-cuts, major road reconstruction and thousands of feet of new underground pipe.
